Save Energy and Money with REPS Appliance Rebates | EOFY Promotions
Are you looking to save energy and money while upgrading your home appliances? Look no further than YESS and the REPS appliance rebates for energy efficiency. With the End of the Financial Year (EOFY) approaching, now is the perfect time to take advantage of the best deals on energy-efficient appliances and maximise your savings.
How to Qualify for the Appliance Rebate
To be eligible for the rebate, you must be a resident of South Australia. Please ensure that the cashback has not been claimed previously for your current address, as this program allows for a one-time rebate per address, per item (fridge, dryer, or freezer).
Additionally, you need to ensure the appliances you want to buy meet the energy efficiency benchmarks. These benchmarks are meant to encourage the use of appliances that save energy and cut down on greenhouse gas emissions. To qualify for the rebates, check out the YESS appliance search tool to see what appliances are covered and how much you can get back from them. Also, pay attention to the energy rating label on the products. The higher the star rating, the better the energy efficiency, which increases the chance of qualifying for a better rebate.
Before applying, make sure to gather all the necessary documents, like proof of purchase.
By following these guidelines, you can take advantage of the rebates to make more eco-friendly choices for your home while saving some money.
Maximising Your Savings During EOFY Sales
The End of the Financial Year (EOFY) presents a golden opportunity for savvy shoppers to secure substantial savings on household appliances. Retailers typically aim to clear their inventory during this period, often introducing discounts and special offers that are attractive to consumers. When these sales are strategically combined with appliance government rebates for energy efficiency, the potential for cost savings and environmental impact is notably increased.
To effectively optimise your EOFY purchases, it is recommended to conduct comprehensive research beforehand. Identify the appliances in your home that require an upgrade and prioritise them accordingly. During this pre-planning phase, it is important to also verify the eligibility for rebates for your desired products to ensure they meet the energy efficiency criteria set by government initiatives.

How To Apply to the Appliance Rebate
Applying for the appliance rebate is a straightforward process designed to encourage homeowners to adopt more energy-efficient appliances. The first step involves purchasing a qualifying appliance that meets the energy efficiency criteria outlined by the REPS government rebate scheme. The eligible appliances include fridges, dryers, and freezers that boast high energy-efficiency ratings. Retailers may offer guidance on these models, or you can research online prior to making your purchase. Once you have your appliance, retain your proof of purchase, as this will be an essential document for your application.
Next, visit the YESS website to access the rebate application form. It’s crucial to read the instructions on the form meticulously to ensure that you understand all the requirements. The form will ask for details about the appliance purchased, including the make, model, and energy rating, as well as personal information to verify your eligibility.
In addition to the completed application form and proof of purchase, you may need to supply additional documentation. This could include photos of your new appliance installed in your residence.
Ensure that all documentation is clear and legible, and double-check that you’ve filled in every section of the form accurately to avoid delays in processing your rebate.
Submit your application. Please note that the rebate is only available for purchases made during the current calendar year and they will not be eligible for next year. Additionally, the program will be stopped once the YESS targets for this activity have been reached (don’t worry, we will inform you beforehand when this happens), so it’s beneficial to apply as soon as your purchase is made.
Please note:
YESS doesn’t provide fridge recycling or decommissioning services. Any mention of appliances or recycling here is about rebates only. For disposal or recycling, please check with your local council.
Do you guys still pick up old fridges and pay cash for them thanking you Louise
